At the close of Women’s Month, when conversations around women’s progress often begin to fade, G-Woman Media chose to do something different.

Instead of ending with reflection, it created a moment of activation.

On March 31, G-Woman TV hosted The 144 Voices Global Broadcast, a 12-hour live event featuring 144 women from across continents, industries, and cultures, each stepping forward to share something meaningful with a global audience.

What followed was not just a broadcast. It was a collective awakening.

The Concept: A Perfect Grid of Expression

Built on the symbolic structure of 12 × 12, the event unfolded with precision and intention.

  • Twelve hours.
  • Twelve hosts.
  • Twelve voices each hour.

A seamless, uninterrupted flow of women speaking, one after the other without dilution, without interruption, and without the need for permission.

Each woman was given five minutes. And in those five minutes, something powerful happened.

The Power of Voice

Across the broadcast, themes emerged organically:

  • Leadership and legacy.
  • Entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.
  • Health, healing, and wellbeing.
  • Creativity, culture, and storytelling.
  • Community, advocacy, and social change.

Some women spoke with quiet reflection. Others spoke with bold conviction. But all spoke with clarity. And together, their voices created a rhythm, a global chorus that transcended geography and experience.

"The 144 Voices Broadcast was one of the most powerful experiences I have been part of at G-Woman Media™. For twelve continuous hours, women from around the world came together to share their stories, passions, expertise, and lived experiences in a way that felt deeply human, inspiring, and transformative. What made the broadcast so special was not just the scale of the event, but the sense of connection it created across cultures, industries, and communities. It was a reminder that when women are given space to speak, lead, and be heard, extraordinary things can happen." - Dr. Lisa Funnell (Director of Communications, G-Woman Media)

A Platform Without Gatekeeping

What made 144 Voices unique was not just the scale, but the structure.

There were no long interviews.
No editorial filters.
No curated narratives.

Just a single guiding question:

“If you had five minutes on global television, what would you say?”

The answers were as diverse as the women themselves, and that was the point.

The Collective Effect

Individually, each voice carried meaning. Collectively, they created momentum.

From Lagos to London, New York to New Delhi, voices traveled across screens and time zones, connecting audiences to perspectives they may never have encountered otherwise.

The result was not just visibility, it was expansion.

A New Tradition is Born

With the success of its inaugural broadcast, 144 Voices is now set to become an annual global tradition, held every March 31 to mark the anniversary of G-Woman Media.

A moment not just to celebrate women but to hear them.

Moving Forward

In a society where women’s voices are often edited, overlooked, or interrupted, 144 Voices offered something rare: a space where women were not invited into the conversation. They were the conversation. And if this first broadcast is any indication, the future of women’s media will not be quiet.

It will be bold. It will be global. And it will be heard.
